INFRASTRUCTURES MUNICIPALES
The BEL AIR TREMBLANT Resort project includes over 7,000 square meters of roadway on mountainous terrain providing access to the 63-hectare project. Built on slopes, these homes offer magnificent views and exceptional privacy thanks to the surrounding nature. This project includes nearly 100 chalet-style residential units, as well as a clubhouse and shared facilities such as a spa and a petting zoo. The routes were carefully planned to respect the natural topography, particularly within an area designated as a reserve for local livestock. The main challenges of this project were to serve as much territory as possible with the shortest possible travel time and a minimum amount of cut and fill (rock), and to slow runoff, contain the prescribed volumes based on the permitted runoff rate, and control erosion. To achieve this, the routes had to be winding, with a gradual ascent, avoiding cuts that create a rock wall on one side and a cliff on the other. The success of this project is closely linked to the collaboration of our urban planning and civil engineering teams, as well as the project developer, who made it possible to adapt the routes from the outset based on the analysis of site constraints.
