This approximately 100,000 square foot project is the first phase in a series of four. In this factory, maple products are processed and valued. It is expected that in the coming phases, the honey will also be processed. The concepts implemented in this building are all related to energy efficiency. The fresh air units are fitted with energy recuperators with aluminum cassettes. The hydraunic heating network is supplied by a biomass boiler. A building control system optimizes the operation of each system. The project has received LEED Certified accreditation.
